Delhi Police arrests sacked BSF Jawan involved in cheating

New Delhi, February 28 (ANI) The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested sacked BSF Jawan Ghanshyam. He cheated 70 lakh rupees through 89 transactions by making a dent in the Permanent Retirement Account of 65 BSF jawans. During his service, he had fraudulently obtained access to the NPS portal. Through this, Ghanshaym had obtained permanent retirement account numbers of such retired BSF jawans who had not linked their mobile numbers and e-mails to their accounts. After this, he added his mobile number to those accounts. Then after making further requests, he got the account numbers changed and the money in them was taken out on a commission basis by conniving with the money exchanger. On receiving the complaint of this forgery from the New Pension Department, the police investigated thoroughly and identified the accused. Police received secret information that Ghanshyam was living in Prayagraj by changing his identity. On this basis, the police raided there and arrested him.
