New Delhi, August 11 (ANI): As terror attacks continue in J&K, two soldiers lost their lives in an exchange of bullets with terrorists in Anantnag on August 10. As per officials, the encounter broke out during a joint operation launched by the Indian Army, J&K Police & CRPF in Kokernag. The incident occurred at altitude of 10,000 feet as security forces continued operations despite the challenging terrain. The areas have been cordoned off and a manhunt has been launched to flush out terrorists hiding in thick dense forests. Earlier on Aug 10, Police released sketches of 4 terrorists who were last seen in Malhar, Bani, and Seojdhar with a 5 lakh bounty on each. Meanwhile, extensive search ops are on in Kishtwar after an exchange of fire between terrorists and security forces on Aug 11. Notably, recent months have witnessed an alarming surge in terror attacks killing more than 10 soldiers and numerous civilians.
